Nicaragua Assessment Trip
A team of 6 students and 2 faculty Advisers will travel to Nicaragua to assess two different land development sites with the ultimate goal of developing affordable housing communities in these areas. This preliminary assessment is the first step to crafting a plan that will create the foundation for a sustainable community in each of these areas. GMU Engineers for International Development will be working in partnership with Roncalli Juan XXIII Association, a non-profit organization that aims to develop low income communities in Nicaragua.
